We were thrilled when Wisconsin first announced the barbering course option and we couldn’t wait to create a program with you in mind. We sat down with an advisory board of local barbershop owners to develop a barbering curriculum that would includes what future employers need you to know. Our barbering program offers small class size for more individualized attention and is more focused than cosmetology on men’s hair trends and cutting techniques.

Our barbering program gives you an insider’s understanding of a barber’s career by providing unique learning experiences such as advanced guest education with local and globally known barbers.

Our 1000-hour program includes salon clinic hours where you can work with guests and where your confidence can grow. Our program allows you to create hairstyle trends that are in demand, before you graduate! You’ll be able to take guests in our salon clinic and use the “tools of the trade” that barbers use: scissors, straight razors, foaming machines, and reclining chairs. We also cover the necessary state safety requirements.
