This includes manicuring stations, hydraulic chairs, massage and esthetic tables, as well as fully equipped skincare stations. Each skincare station is equipped with dermascopes and steamers, ensuring that students have everything they need for their training.

Our top-notch salon and spa environment allows students to practice hair, skin, nail, and body services while being closely supervised by licensed instructors. Our Institutes integrate wellness education and training seamlessly into the daily curriculum of all our programs. Students engage in a variety of activities that cater to their specific areas of study, such as meditations that enhance focus and concentration, exercises to prevent professional injury, Aveda rituals for relaxation, professionally lead yoga classes, diaphragmatic breathing techniques for stress management, and even healthy recipe exchanges to promote overall well-being.

Ayurvedic Cooking
In Ayurveda, the saying goes, “you are what you digest,” which is a different perspective from the popular phrase “you are what you eat.” Our Ayurveda Esthetics program emphasizes the importance of digestion for overall health. As part of our Milwaukee curriculum, students not only learn about digestion but also share recipes and prepare meals inspired by the ancient Indian tradition. These meals are enjoyed by all Institute students, promoting wellness and nourishment.
Retail Learning

The Institute houses a retail center for Aveda hair, skin, flower, and plant Pure-Fume™ and body care, makeup, and lifestyle products. Product knowledge and retail success are two ways that you can increase your value in the salon industry. The store gives you the opportunity to practice your client services and business skills with guests.
