Embark on your journey towards a career in beauty and wellness with our comprehensive education programs. Led by experienced instructors, our courses are designed to equip you with a solid foundation for your future. If you're eager to train at one of our accredited Aveda Institute campuses, follow the steps outlined below.
STEPS TOWARDS LIVING YOUR DREAM
HOW IT WORKS
Tour one of our campuses, including the classrooms and clinic floors you’d be learning and working in. For one-on-one tours, call us at 414.227.2889 or fill out our tour form. For group tours, schedule a time online. Parents and besties welcome!
- Complete Admissions Application (includes $50 application fee, $100 for transfer students.)
- Submit one (1) official proof of education
- Take an entrance assessment if applicable
- Provide proof of age
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or agree to estimated payment contract
Once you are accepted into your program of choice, then congratulations! We can’t wait to get you started. The last part of the process includes learning more about the details of the program you want to pursue, choosing a day to begin classes, and signing your contract

Where should the required documents be sent?
Admission requirements, excluding contracts and official diplomas & transcripts, may be faxed to: 414.291.3968.
What are the requirements for the entrance exam?
You will need to take an entrance assessment should any of the following be applicable:
- GPA is 2.0 or below
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED does not verify GPA
- Homeschool or Foreign Diploma
Transfer Students
Applicants for transfer into The Institutes are considered on an individual basis. The Institutes, at their discretion, may refuse transfers if admission requirements, including tuition, cannot be met. The Institutes may accept transfer hours at their discretion. Program testing may be necessary. The Institutes may allow students to re-enter a program after they have withdrawn. If a student’s academic progress was unsatisfactory when he/she withdrew from the school and later wishes to re-enter school, the student will return under that same status. If a student withdraws with satisfactory academic progress, he/she may return under that same status without loss of credit, grades, or hours.
Foreign Applicants
If a foreign applicant provides a high school diploma or transcript, the admissions department requires that the applicant have an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English, confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma.
