High School Admissions Representative
Be the face of Aveda Institute Chicago in the local high school community, from career fairs to enrollment.
About the role
Aveda Institute Chicago is hiring an energetic, personable High School Admissions Representative to serve as the face of the school within the local high school community, attending career fairs, building relationships with counselors, and guiding prospective students from first inquiry through enrollment.
What you will do
- Represent Aveda Institute Chicago at high school career fairs, class visits, and recruiting events across the region
- Plan and run interactive activities, such as spin to win wheels, to boost event participation
- Build relationships with high school counselors, career center staff, and administrators
- Guide prospective students through admissions, from inquiry to enrollment
- Assist students with financial aid applications and questions
- Support career services programming for students
- Track and report on recruiting activity, event attendance, and enrollment outcomes
What we look for
- Graduate of a cosmetology, esthetics, or related beauty and wellness program preferred
- Professional beauty industry license preferred, such as cosmetology, esthetics, or massage therapy
- Prior admissions, recruiting, sales, or education experience preferred
- Strong public speaking and event presentation skills
- Reliable transportation for regular travel to area high schools

- It is preferred, not required. A genuine people person with admissions, recruiting, or sales experience can also be a strong fit.
