About the role
Aveda Institute Chicago is seeking a licensed Esthiology Substitute Instructor for independent contractor coverage, flexible and as needed teaching for candidates who want contract based classroom experience.
The assignment may run several weeks or extend longer term, depending on coverage needs.
What you will do
- Teach core curriculum, both theory and hands on facials, waxing, body treatments, makeup application, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and advanced services
- Coach students and provide feedback for growth
- Prepare students for state license exams
- Train students on Aveda and Ultraceuticals products and protocols
What we look for
- Active Illinois Esthiology Instructor's license
- Experience in advanced services such as peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and lashes
- Teaching, training, or leadership experience
