About the role
Aveda Institute Madison is hiring a licensed Cosmetology Instructor to train, educate, and develop the next generation of Wisconsin cosmetology professionals, teaching core curriculum, guiding state board prep, and mentoring students on the clinic floor.
Aveda Institute Madison trains future cosmetology, esthetics, massage, and manicuring professionals as part of the Aveda Institutes network. It was acquired by The Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 2015 and is accredited by NACCAS, the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences.
What you will do
- Deliver core curriculum through structured instruction, hands on training, and student evaluations
- Guide students through Wisconsin state board preparation
- Supervise and mentor students on the clinic floor, reinforcing professional standards
- Implement institutional systems, policies, and procedures
- Stay current on Aveda products, services, and industry trends
What we look for
- Active Wisconsin Cosmetology license
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Prior teaching, training, or leadership experience
- Aveda experience is a plus
