Trade the chair for the classroom. Aveda Institute Chicago is hiring a licensed Cosmetology Instructor to train, mentor, and inspire the next generation of Illinois stylists.
Aveda Institute Chicago trains the next generation of cosmetologists and estheticians as part of the Aveda network of educational beauty schools. The Institute of Beauty and Wellness acquired the campus in December 2024, and NACCAS, the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, accredits it.
What you will do
- Deliver core curriculum through structured instruction, hands on training, and student evaluations
- Guide students through Illinois state board preparation
- Supervise and mentor students on the clinic floor, reinforcing professional standards
- Implement institutional systems, policies, and procedures
- Stay current on Aveda products, services, and industry trends
What we look for
- Active Illinois Cosmetology Instructor's license
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Prior teaching, training, or leadership experience
- Aveda experience is a plus
