Aveda Corporate Headquarters Visit
Every year, our students are given the opportunity to take an overnight bus trip to the “mothership” of Aveda: The Aveda Corporate Headquarters in Blaine, Minnesota. What better way to get connected to the amazing brand of products that we use?
Day 1 at Aveda Corporate Headquarters
We started the trek to Minneapolis with our sister school, the Institute of Beauty and Wellness on a Coach bus (fully stocked with snacks of course). Upon arrival to Minneapolis, our first stop was at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis to tour the 5-story building founded by the founder of Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher.
Day 2 at Aveda Corporate Headquarters
The next day was a robust agenda, starting off with a tour of Juut Salon. The owner, David Wagner came to speak with the students and gave everyone a copy of his book “Life as a DayMaker.” Next, we took the bus to Blaine where we began our tour of the Aveda Corporate Headquarters. The day began with an inspirational message from Aveda co-founder, Shiv Nath Tandon. Following Shiv Nath’s presentation various member of research and development, marketing, and global store development spoke about the brand and why they love Aveda.
