In this hands-on course, you will experience a combination of Aveda education and real salon experience, guided by industry professionals who are passionate about helping you succeed in the ever-growing beauty industry.

Manicuring Program overview

Our Manicuring Program is a 300-hour, 11-to-15-week course designed to prepare you for the Wisconsin Manicuring Licensing Exam and a successful future as a licensed Nail Technician. You will receive hands-on training in nail care, design, sanitation, and guest experience, all while working with professional products and real clients in a supportive learning environment.

At IBW, students benefit from small class sizes, experienced instructors, and an Aveda-based curriculum that focuses on both technical skills and confidence. Our goal is to help you launch your beauty career right after graduation.

We offer multiple start dates throughout the year, giving you flexibility to begin your education when it fits your schedule. Both daytime and evening classes are available depending on the campus.

Please note that due to the short length of the Manicuring Program, federal financial aid (FAFSA) is not available. However, with our low tuition and flexible payment plans, you can still begin your education without relying on federal loans.

Sallie Mae Loan Information

Applying for a Sallie Mae Education Loan is simple. Once approved, you will receive a personalized interest rate and estimated monthly payment. You can choose to make payments while in school or defer them until six months after graduation, depending on what works best for you.

Students who make in-school monthly interest payments may qualify for a rate that is 0.5–1.0% lower. Borrowers who enroll in auto-debit payments receive an additional 0.25% discount.

While a cosigner is not required if you qualify on your own, having one may improve your chances of approval and help you receive a lower rate. After graduation, borrowers can apply for cosigner release once they have made 12 on-time principal and interest payments and meet specific credit requirements.
