The medispa industry is growing faster than ever, and medispas are seeking out professionals like you to make an impact! Now is the perfect time to grow your service menu, move into a medical spa environment, and expand your skincare knowledge. If you are considering your next steps, look no further than the Advanced Esthetics program at the Institute of Beauty and Wellness.
This incredibly short 12-day program will not only provide you the necessary technical information needed to be successful in this industry, but also ensure you feel confident by allowing extra practical opportunities to give you real-life experiences. Your training will include an inside look into the history of the medispa industry and the kind of treatments that are generally practiced. Your curriculum will be evenly split between theory and hands-on practice.
How does the Institute of Beauty and Wellness differ? Well, we not only offer practical knowledge as a part of the curriculum– we specialize in it. Other programs will provide you baseline requirements that are required to award certification. However, certification is not our only goal. We want you to feel confident and successful heading into this new industry. We offer the most practical time allowed for your Advanced Esthetics training. Our methods, including program schedule, curriculum choice, and instructors are all designed to ensure you get the absolute most out of your education and future in a medispa.

At the Institute of Beauty and Wellness, we created our schedule with your availability and optimal learning opportunities in mind. Our current program is half remote and half in-person. Your classes will take place Monday and Tuesday each week and will include a standard 8-hour day.
Your morning will include the Theory Learning portion which will be taught through an online platform remotely. After your theory class, you will make your way over to one of our SKN BAR Rx locations for the practical training portion of your learning. During your practical training, you will apply the lessons that you were taught that morning to ensure you feel confident and stay on track with the curriculum.
Hours will vary based on start time, but will be discussed further at registration. During your registration process, it will also be determined which SKN BAR Rx location you will be training at each week to ensure you have proper notice. Participating in classes two times a week will set the program duration at a total of six weeks. We did this to ensure you are provided a healthy work, school, and personal balance.
