Course Overview

At our Madison campus, the 1,600-hour Aveda Cosmetology certificate program is meticulously designed to transcend state educational mandates, fully equipping our students for careers in the beauty industry. More than 1,000 of these hours are dedicated to hands-on practical experience, providing students the invaluable opportunity to work directly with guests in our AVEDA clinic lab floor. Additionally, our program includes an externship component, allowing students to immerse themselves in the real-world environment of a professional salon.

*To become licensed, the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services requires completion of 1550 clock hours at an accredited cosmetology program.
