Yoga brings the body and mind together into one harmonious experience. Our Yoga Teacher Certification program is broken down into two 100-hour programs. It is centered on both the physical and meditative properties of the practice. The curriculum covers body anatomy, therapeutics, the physical practice of yoga and instruction on how to lead a successful career as a yoga practitioner.

Students will refine their teaching styles with the guidance of a skilled and passionate teaching staff, led by Morgan Herum. Morgan, RYT500/E-RYT200, began yoga as a teenager and devoted her life to yoga once she realized its power to transform.  Morgan has completed over 700 hours of training in anatomy, Patanjali’s Ashtanga, Bhakti, Hatha, Karma, and Jnana Yoga, and Ayurveda in Costa Rica, Indonesia, India, and Milwaukee.  Morgan teaches internationally and in Milwaukee, offering public and private classes, workshops, and yoga teacher trainings.  Morgan applies ancient yoga wisdom not only to her teachings, but to her whole life by choosing a sustainable vegetarian diet, transportation (by bicycle), gardening, composting, and teaching weekly EcoYoga classes that fund the prevention of rainforest destruction.

Prerequisite: Practicing yoga for at least 1 year

NEXT CLASS STARTS August 17, 2018

 

PHASE II TOTAL HOURS: 100 HOURS

Prerequisite: Completion of Phase I, 3 years’ experience or letter of recommendation

NEXT CLASS STARTS January 18, 2019
