She began her career as a bridal hair specialist in 2007, shortly before graduating cosmetology school. She now travels world-wide for destination weddings and to teach bridal hair workshops. She is the resident bridal expert for behindthechair.com, and her hairstyles are internationally recognized, both in the bridal industry and the hair styling industry. She is married and lives in Utah with her husband and twin girls.

1. What is your ideal vacation spot and why?
My favorite place in the world is The Redwood National Forest in Northern CA. Camping there with my husband and kids is my favorite.
2. Who do you watch for inspiration?
Everyone! I get inspiration from everywhere. Pinterest, the red carpet, the runways, Instagram, other stylists, really anyone.
3. What would you say is the key to success in the beauty industry?
Feeling passionate and excited about what you are doing. Challenging yourself and taking risks.
