An AVEDA Beauty School

We’re thrilled to announce the establishment of a second school in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Institute of Beauty and Wellness (IBW) purchased the Aveda Institute Madison on Monday, February 16, 2015. The facility, formally known as Aveda Institute VICI, will continue the current Aveda full-time Cosmetology program and introduce a three-day accelerated Cosmetology program and begin the first Esthiology program in the area with full and part-time classes this spring. In addition a full selection of Aveda hair and skin services will be available to the public.

“We’re thrilled to be able to expand our brand to the Madison area,” IBW Owner and CEO Susan Haise says. “The Madison market gives us an opportunity to reach more students interested in careers in the beauty industry.”

Haise has plans to do a complete renovation of the 14,100 square feet school to reflect the brand Aveda’s mission of sustainability.

The Aveda Institute Madison is centrally located within The University of Wisconsin-Madison‘s campus at 353 East Campus Mall, Madison, WI 53715.  It is part of University Square Madison – a 1,100,000 square foot urban infill development built by Executive Management, Inc., and completed in 2008.

The Aveda Institute Madison and The Institute of Beauty of Wellness are two of 64 internationally renowned, cutting edge, eco-friendly cosmetology and spa institutions dedicated to shaping the future of the beauty industry for Aveda.

The Aveda Institute Madison will feature services including haircuts, hairstyling, hair treatments, color treatments, braiding, extensions, body care, nail care, make-up and esthetic services to the community.
