Your guests, from 18-80 years old, crave smooth skin. Dermaplaning will help improve fine lines and wrinkles as well as deep acne scarring. Removing dead skin cells and vellus hairs creates an environment where products can be absorbed into the skin more readily, increasing penetration.
In this one-day course designed for nurses and licensed estheticians, you’ll learn theory and treatment protocols that will help you layer dermaplaning as an easy add-on service for your salon and spa guests prior to a chemical peel or during a facial. Your morning will be spent learning from a licensed aesthetic specialist or medical aesthetician. In the afternoon, you’ll visit a medspa where you’ll have the opportunity to practice what you learned during model treatments.
If you’re curious about how to begin providing this service or are interested in entering the medical spa environment, this training through the Institute of Beauty and Wellness is for you!
