At the Institute of Beauty and Wellness, we understand the demand for advanced treatments and the interest in expanding into different markets. Using the strengths of your current spa or medispa, chemical peels are a great addition to your service menu while staying true to your client’s expectations.

Chemical peels are a safe and effective way to treat and improve common skin concerns relating to anti-aging, acne, and pigmentation. Depending on your client, treatment intensity can range from mild to extreme based on current skin conditions and desired result. Most chemical peels are considered to be light or medium intensity with a relatively quick recovery time. Due to product use and the overall treatment process, chemical peels are considered a medical procedure. Therefore, esthetician licensure or registered nurse licensure with treatment certification is required before performing any client-based services.

Chemical peels have grown in popularity in spas and medispas because of their capabilities and effectiveness. Pairing this treatment with reliable and effective cosmeceutical products is just as impactful as the service itself. During your training, you will become familiar with a fast-growing line of cosmeceutical products that are not only safe but also effective.

Must be licensed esthetician or registered nurse

Your training will consist of one full day that is evenly split between your theory and hands-on practice. During this 8-hour training, you will be partnered with some of the best instructors in the area to help you grow your knowledge in all things Chemical Peels and Ultraceuticals related.

Your theory portion will take place in the morning via remote learning to go over foundational knowledge. In the afternoon, you will make your way over to SKN BAR Rx to practice what you learned during your theory session through hands-on development. You will be paired with SKN BAR Rx specialists who will go over various application methods and the importance of a personalized service. Based on client needs, chemical peel services are not one-size-fits-all. Not only will you be able to positively impact your client’s experience in your medispa, but you will also be able to continue their service with a personalized at-home treatment to ensure results during their in between appointments.
