ANCIENT PRACTICE, MODERN EDUCATION

AYURVEDA BODY THERAPIES

Interested in bringing a peaceful holistic approach into your modern-day spa? Ayurvedic practices are recognized as an ancient healing method that works to rebalance, rejuvenate, and destress the energy around and within. At the Institute of Beauty and Wellness, we recognize Ayurvedic practices as not only an art, but an effective form of healing.

The world around us is moving further into an advanced and technological society. While this offers some great benefits, it also moves us away from the natural gifts supplied to us by the Earth. In many countries–India for an example–Ayurvedic practices are just as much of a science and a recognized medicinal approach as anything formulated in a lab. As a recognized and valued approach to healing, the Institute of Beauty and Wellness welcomes you to expand your education through our Advanced Ayurvedic Body Therapies Program.

Ayurvedic methods are used as a rejuvenation of the body and soul. As a globally recognized approach to both physical and spiritual healing, Ayurveda works to connect the body and soul as one rather than two distinct vessels. In the modern world, we experience the stresses of work, family, being on the “go,” and striving for the best possible lifestyle. This approach has its benefits, however, in terms of balance and overall soul health, it can be detrimental.

Ayurvedic Techniques - IBW

The idea of invoking on a more spiritual approach has caught the attention of many people in recent years and has been consistently found effective. There is a growing need for additional approaches to healing, which includes spiritual wellness. During your Advanced Ayurveda Body Therapies course, you will get an inside look into the various methods used in Ayurvedic healing.

The Ayurveda Body Therapies course focuses on the service portion of Ayurveda. Using specific healing body rituals will enhance your client’s experience through promoting deep relaxation and restoring energy. These ancient services and techniques are over one thousand years old and will help your client become more connected to the world of Ayurveda. These services provide a sense of peace within the mind, body, and soul and work to improve tensions caused from stress, anxiety, and depression.

Using the Doshas, Chakras, and Marma points, you can help assist what each client’s imbalance looks like. For some, it could look like fatigue, tiredness, and irritation. For others, it can look like high-strung, impulsiveness, and anxiety. Both can create a roadblock to future growth both spiritually and physically.

These learnings should not replace the advice or knowledge given from medical professionals. Instead, they should be used in conjunction with medical-grade advice to improve imbalances and treat the body and soul as one.
