Our Difference

As an Aveda Institute, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility through partnerships to reduce waste, student leadership opportunities to promote green living and wellness, utilizing cruelty-free vegan products, and organizing humanitarian efforts for our communities and beyond.

Environmental leadership

Our campuses annually divert approx. 10,000 lbs of wast from landfills and waterways through a recycling collaboration with Green Circle. Green Team, one of our student clubs, meets monthly to organize events and initiatives to advance the Aveda Mission.

Community Stewardship

Both Milwaukee and Madison Institutes host annual Earth Month and Breast Cancer Awareness fashion shows to raise funds for local philanthropic organizations.

Lifelong Learning

Alumni are welcomed back at any time to prepare for state board exams, attend guest education workshops and career fairs, as well as receive discounted continuing education opportunities.

Vegan

Students practice their craft using Aveda’s vegan, cruelty-free product line that is naturally derived from pure flower and plant essences.

Aveda Retail Training

All programs include comprehensive Aveda product training so our graduates can step right into their Aveda salon & spa “homes’ after licensure, without requiring additional training.

Aveda Rituals

Learn Aveda’s signature rituals of Renewal sought out at high-end salons and spas, including: stress-relieving massages, aroma sensory journeys, tea rituals, finishing touches, warm towels and foot baths.
